Do You Follow?

As many of you have already discovered, it is now much easier to follow other participants on the Day Zero website. A ‘Follow’ function has been the most requested feature by users, and it’s great to now be able to keep track of all the progress that is happening in the community.

Each user now has a ‘Follow’ button in the profile box and also a new Activity page where you can see a stream of recent activity by all the people you follow.

Who can I follow?

You can follow anyone who does not have their account set to private.

How do I find people to follow?

On your Activity page you can search for users using the Find people to follow link on the right side of the page. You can search on name, email or location.

I have private goals on my list, will followers be able to see them?

No. Any private goals you may have on your list will still remain private - even if you both follow each other.

My list is private, can people still follow me?

If your account is set to private you can still follow other participants, but they will not be able to follow you. If you follow someone, and they change their account to private, you will not be able to see their list or updates.

Can I comment on other users’ goals or recent activity list?

Not yet. I have had a number of requests by users who would like to be able to do this and so will be investigating a good solution to enable this.

I’m still ironing out a few minor issues, but do let me know if you encounter any issues at michael@dayzeroproject.com
